A Tokyo showing of the experimental show with Fukjshima choir, "Gypsy Punk Opera ~JAPAN~" has been set for December 5th!

The power of voices in Fukushima..

災復興、原発や放射能問題など、一言では解決出来ない問題を抱えている福島の現状を、音楽アート、ダンスが融合した【ショウ】を通して世界へ発信し、福島の子供たちが外の世界の土地や人々と繋がっていくことを願い ”ジプシーパンクオペラ ～ジャパン～” という音楽アートプロジェクトを進めています。今回、その第一歩として、サイクラブ☆の日本メンバーと東京音楽大学生のストリングスアンサンブル、そして福島の高校生の合唱とともに ”ジプシーパンクオペラ ～ジャパン～” の一部の公開リハーサルを、東京の日暮里サニーホール／コンサートサロンにて、未来創造塾２０１５の協力のもとに行います。資金の寄付をReady For というクラウドファンドで募っております！何卒、皆様のご協力よろしくお願いいたします。

The Fukushima of today deals with many complex issues regarding radiation and nuclear power, all while recovering from the tremendous damage of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.  In an effort to connect the Fukushima of today with the rest of the world, we are on our way to plan, organize, and perform a show that incorporates within it many forms of art, from music and dance to painting and video.  The show is called “Gypsy Punk Opera ~ JAPAN~,” and it is created with hopes that it will inspire the children of Fukushima to connect with people and explore the lands outside of their home.
